I think Fionas exit was overdue. She was holding the Gallaghers back!
I think Fionas exit was rushed and unrealistic. She deserved a better send-off!
I think Fionas exit was long overdue, the show needed a fresh start!
I think Fionas exit was necessary for the show to evolve. Good riddance!
While Fiona’s farewell was indeed a pivotal moment in Shameless, Id argue it was her downfall that truly defined her characters arc. Anyone else feel her new beginning was somewhat rushed?
Anybody else think Fionas Farewell was rushed? It feels like they didnt give her character a proper conclusion. Like, what exactly is her new beginning? And, her downfall seemed abrupt and out of character.
Surprisingly, I think Fiona leaving Shameless was the right move. It added a fresh perspective to the show, despite her being a key character. Wonder how the dynamics will change without her? Just throwing it out there.
Did anyone else feel that Fionas exit was somewhat abrupt? I mean, I get it, she needed a fresh start, but couldnt the writers have given us a little more insight into her new beginning?
Abrupt? Maybe. But Fionas exit was raw and real. Lifes transitions arent always neatly wrapped up.
While I respect the articles take on Fionas departure, I must say, I feel it was too drawn out and melodramatic. Consider, shouldnt Fionas downfall have been a stepping stone instead of a conclusion? Also, I think it wouldve added more depth if her new beginning had shown some tangible progress. Just my two cents!
Perhaps drama was necessary for Fionas story arc? Progress isnt always immediate nor visible.
