Vivi was important, sure, but lets not overlook the Straw Hat crews role in saving Alabasta. They all played a crucial part in defeating Crocodile and restoring peace. Each member contributed in their own way, making them all MVPs in my book.
I think Luffy shouldve handled the Alabasta situation differently. Too reckless!
